William C Staples Sr. (My Father)

Was born in 1898 in Jesey City, New Jersey to John William Staples &

Jennie Helen Brochel.

 

William married Althea Geary. They had a child Althea. At or near childbirth, Althea (the mother) died. This was during the Flu epidemic of 1918.

 

 William gave Althea (the child) to his parents who raised her.

 

William married Margarite Holmes (my mother) in 1923.

 

William C Staples Sr died in 29 Apr 1990 in Dallas, Texas.
